Browse this section if you want to purchase your souvenirs at the Helsinki Airport – or even have them ready and waiting on your flight back. You will also find links to the airport cafes, restaurants and shops.

The cafes, restaurants and other shops in the gate area of Helsinki Airport Terminal 2 are at your disposal before your flight. Passengers on domestic flights can make purchases in all other shops except the Finnair Shop and Helsinki Airport Duty Free shop.

Finnair Plus Platinum, Gold and Silver members receive a 10% discount on all products, excluding campaign products, at the Finnair Shops at Helsinki, Tampere and Turku airports when flying out of the EU, and a 5% discount when flying to other EU countries. No discounts are given on campaign products, tobacco and alcohol. All Finnair Plus members receive 5 Plus points for each euro spent, when the total amount of purchases exceeds 15 euros, regardless of the travel destination.


Pre-order service


Pre-orders for intercontinental scheduled flights should be submitted no later than five days before departure, at www.finnairshop.com. Pre-orders are possible for Finnair flights to and from Bangkok, Beijing, Delhi, Hong Kong, Nagoya, New York, Osaka, Seoul, Shanghai and Tokyo.

Pre-orders for European scheduled flights can be submitted at www.finnairshop.com no later than three days before departure. Pre-orders are possible for all flights to and from Helsinki, except to and from Bergen, Riga, St. Petersburg, Stockholm, Tallinn and Vilnius.

Pre-orders are also possible for all leisure flights (outbound and inbound) and should be submitted no later than five days before departure, at www.finnairshop.com.

  • The minimum value of a pre-order is €30.
  • You may also order on weekdays from 08:00 to 18:00 and on weekends from 08:00 to 12:00 by phone at +358 600 91 006 (€2.96/answered call + local network charge) or by sending a fax to +358 8 63 32 32 81. An order can also be submitted during the outbound flight, for the return flight.
  • You can browse the product selection online without registering to the website, but submitting an order requires your flight number and travel date.
  • Purchases are paid for with cash or credit card onboard the aircraft.
  • Our wide and affordably-priced pre-order selection includes cosmetics, jewellery, sweets and other presents.
  • The pre-order selection online is the same as in the printed catalogue, excluding alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
  • When travelling within the European Union, wines may be ordered for the flight departing from Helsinki.
  • Stronger alcohol and tobacco may also be ordered for intercontinental flights and flights to other destinations outside the European Union (both in- and outbound). The destinations in Europe are Ekaterinburg, Geneva, Istanbul, Kiev, Moscow, Oslo and Zürich. Stronger alcohol may only be ordered by phone or fax.

All passengers receive a 10% discount on orders made online, including special offers. For orders made by phone or fax the discount is granted to Finnair Plus Platinum, Gold and Silver members for flights to or from a country outside the European Union. All Finnair Plus members receive 5 Plus points/1 euro when the total amount of purchases exceeds 15 euros, regardless of destination abroad and the way the order was made.

At the Finnair Shop, you find not only traditional perfumes, cosmetics, alcohol and tobacco products but also a varied selection of confectionary, gift items, electronics, silk items, clothes, bags and toys – all world famous and high quality brands.

The discontinuation of tax-free sales in intra-EU travel did not cause price changes in product groups other than for alcohol and tobacco. These items can only be sold tax-free to passengers travelling outside the European Union. Prices available for passengers travelling within the EU are also more economical than those in Finland.

Our shop offers new sale items in various product groups every month. In addition to the monthly Best Buy items, the perfume section offers weekly discounts and product demonstrations. The sales personnel in the department are all cosmetologists and are happy to help you find the products that suit you best.
