Checked baggage
If your baggage does not arrive on the same flight or if it is damaged, you can file a report in three different ways:
1) Contact the Arrival Service in the arrivals hall.
2) Fill in the Baggage Tracing Form and e-mail it. Please describe the bag or other lost item as accurately as possible in the field Type of bag. The delivery of delayed baggage can be monitored on the WorldTracer system at www.finnair.com/bag. If your baggage does not arrive within 72 hours, we need more specific information to continue the search.
3) Concerning baggage destined for Helsinki you can also call Arrival Service at Helsinki Airport between 07:00 and 21:00 on +358 10 389 2000 or send an e-mail.
Baggage claims
A written complaint about damage to checked baggage has to be submitted to Finnair at once when noticed and at the latest within seven (7) days from the receipt of the baggage. A written complaint about delayed baggage has to be submitted within twenty one (21) days from receipt of the baggage.
Baggage compensation claims are processed by the Customer Relations, Feedback form.
